Up on your feet, Child. Let's take a walk. That mountain isn't going anywhere, but you can.
Grab my hand, let's walk the path I have set before us. Yes, that one ... the long one ... the one that winds several times up, down, and around the mountain.
As we walk, I'll show you up close who I want to be for you as we travel this path together. You'll see the mountain from many different viewpoints. On the journey, you'll find out who I am to you on every side. You'll come to realize what I am doing deep within you.
I'm extending an invitation to you. You can sit immobilized with fear, or you can stand up, grab My hand, and journey the mountain with Me. Child, don't let what you see before you overwhelm you. The great I AM is here to take your hand. I know that mountain is there, and yes, with a word, I could throw it into the sea. But then, it would be hard for you and me to walk it together. You would miss out on so much.
Through this journey with Me, you'll develop endurance, a strength of character, and a deeper relationship with Me. You'll become more deeply rooted in My love, My goodness, and My faithfulness. Don't fret. As we walk the path together, things will be happening to the mountain too. Trust Me. Your faith will increase with each step.
So up on your feet Child, let's get walking. It's time to lean on Me, trust Me, listen to My words of truth, and learn from Me.
Remember, there is not one mountain that is bigger than Me, the Great I AM.
Let's walk that mountain before you ... together.
Forever yours,
God
"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment.” Romans 5: 3-5 (NLT)
