My Beloved,

You are the one whom I long to have by my side.

You, yes you.

Come away from the busyness you have planned. Spend time with Me away from the hustle and bustle. Take an intentional break from the stress you are carrying.

Take My hand and walk with Me beside the still waters. Sit with Me in the green pastures as I spread out our meal beside the still waters.

Drink from My cup of living water and refresh your soul.

As we spend time together, sharing our thoughts, our hearts, and our dreams, you'll know which way to go. When you stumble, I will be there to catch you. When you step into a dark valley, do not fear, for I am with you, pulling you close and protecting you.

When you get weary from the battle of contending, sit with me at the table and share the meal I have prepared to replenish you. As we sit together in peace, your soul will once again find rest. For this battle will be won as you experience My peace ... My peace that passeth all understanding.

For in My peace, you'll find rest. In My peace, you'll be sustained. In My peace, you'll persevere. In My peace, you'll find the strength you need to continue the journey. In My peace, you'll lack nothing for I have all you need.

Come away, dear one, find your peace and rest in Me.

Your Savior and Shepherd,

Jesus

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23 (NIV)

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 (NIV)
