Beloved,
Come away into the quiet; apart from the noise and distractions.
Draw away into the sacred space of the Secret Place and share your heart with Me. It's our place; yours and mine.
Don't believe the lie that I don't have time for you or that I'm too busy. I always have time for you, and I love to hear your voice. You can talk "to" Me, but I'd rather speak "with" you ... heart-to-heart.
By spending time together, you'll become more accustomed to My voice, My character, and My ways. You'll come to understand that I am for you and I want the best for you.
Here in our Secret Place, you have the freedom to share your heart. Tell Me about the things you are wrestling with in your mind. Let My light shine into the dark corners of your soul. Let My voice speak truth into the gray areas of your thoughts.
If you have a hard time picturing Me with you, let your child-like faith bring you to Me as a child. Start there. Start somewhere. Refuse to let what you don't understand keep you from knowing Me more. Let My Spirit of Truth and Revelation draw you here.
You belong with Me, dear one. You belong.
I am waiting, Jesus
Prayer: Jesus, My heart longs for more of you. Loosen the restrictions of my thinking that may be keeping me from spending time with you in our Secret Place. Give me faith to step into that sacred space to spend time with you heart-to-heart. Amen
