You stepped into the boat, and with excitement, you watched the shoreline disappear as you and I set sail.
But then the clouds rolled in and darkness fell. The sea changed and now we're tossed from side to side. The winds howl across the stern, and the waves crash over our heads. It's foggy, and you can barely see Me.
Yet, I see you glancing My way, your knuckles tightly clenched. You wonder if we'll get to the other side in one piece. You doubt that I have things in control ... because it is not your hand at the helm guiding us through the storm. You are anxious.
My dear one, it is written, that I will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Me. Peace starts with trust. I am in this boat with you. Trust Me! I am your Captain who will steer us through the storm. I know when to hoist and lower the sails, when to turn, and when to ride the waves. Each wave, each breath of wind, knows Me. When I speak, they must obey.
When life throws up its squalls, and you can't get your bearings, focus on Me, your Captain. Let Me be your compass. Listen to My voice and let My words calm you.
Trust Me. Hold steadfast to My Promises, and I will bring peace to the storms. The storms around you and the ones within you.
