My Beloved,

No one made room for us that night, yet hearts were longing for Hope, longing for Love, longing for Me, their Messiah. My people expected and looked for Me for years, yet weren't aware when I arrived; their hearts closed to the possibility of Hope coming in an unexpected form.

They made no room as I arrived in an unwed mother. They hung shame on the bearer of their hope, while she carried the One who would later bear shame on their behalf.

Oh, but I would do it all over again; lay down heaven so I can pick you up. So I can carry you when you need comforting. So I can scorn shame when it tries clinging to you. So I can bind up your bruised and wounded heart. So I can pick up the broken pieces of your life and restore what has been stolen and lost. So I can share My glory and shine through you. Thank you for making room for me in your heart and life.

Beloved, the Light of the World is within you lighting up the deepest corners, guiding you, lighting your way. Let My Light lead you forward into a world broken and looking for Hope, looking for Me. Through you I shine brightly with a love so bright, it lights up the darkest of nights. Go Beloved, be My Light. Be My Love. Bring Hope to the hurting world around you.

For Hope was born in the darkest of night, to bring the world the brightest of days. Shine brightly, dear one. Shine brightly and light up the world around you.

Your Hope and Light, Jesus

He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger because there was no guest room available for them. Luke 2:5-7

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
